Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the AxcessRent platform and services by both Landlords/Property Management Companies (“Landlords”) and Tenants (“Tenants”). By using the AxcessRent platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Purpose
AxcessRent provides a platform for Landlords to report accurate and timely rental payment data to credit bureaus, potentially improving Tenants’ credit scores.
Services Offered
Rent Reporting: AxcessRent collects and reports rental payment data to credit bureaus with the Tenant’s consent and accurate payment information.
Platform Access: Landlords and Tenants access the platform to enroll, manage accounts, and track rent reporting activities.
Eligibility and Responsibilities
Landlords:
Verify ownership or management rights for properties.
Invite Tenants to enroll in the program.
Provide accurate and timely rent payment data.
Maintain good communication with Tenants regarding the program.
Tenants:
Enroll in the program with valid lease agreements.
Provide accurate and complete personal information.
Authorize rent reporting to credit bureaus.
Comply with program terms and conditions.
Data Privacy and Security
AxcessRent prioritizes data privacy and security. We employ industry-standard measures to protect user information and only use it for authorized purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Termination of Services
Either party may terminate their use of the platform with written notice. AxcessRent may
terminate services for non-compliance or legal requirements.
Limitation of Liability
AxcessRent is not liable for:
Inaccuracies in reported data due to incorrect information provided by Landlords or Tenants.
Negative impacts on credit scores resulting from factors beyond AxcessRent’s control. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ohio. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiations or binding arbitration in Ohio High Court.
Entire Agreement and Amendments
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes any prior agreements. Amendments require written consent from both parties.
Notices and Waiver
All notices must be in writing and delivered as specified in the Agreement. A waiver of any provision does not constitute a continuing waiver.
