These terms and conditions outline the eligibility criteria, program details, and responsibilities for both landlords and tenants participating in the AxcessRent Rent Relief program.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for rent relief, tenants must:
Be a current tenant in good standing with a valid lease agreement.
Demonstrate a documented financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., job loss, medical emergency, natural disaster).
Provide proof of income and expenses to support their claim of financial hardship.
Actively participate in the rent relief program, including attending meetings and providing necessary documentation.

Program Details:
Rent Relief Options:
Rent Abatement: Forgiveness of a portion of the rent amount for a specific period.
Rent Deferral: Postponing the payment of a portion of the rent, which will be due later with or without additional charges (e.g., interest).
Program Duration: The duration of rent relief will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering the tenant’s financial situation and the severity of their hardship.
Communication and Documentation: All communication regarding the rent relief program will be documented and maintained by AxcessRent. Tenants are responsible for providing accurate and complete information throughout the program.

Responsibilities:

Landlord Responsibilities:
Review tenant applications and determine eligibility for rent relief.
Clearly communicate the terms and conditions of the program to the tenant.
Document all agreements and modifications to the original lease agreement.
Maintain open communication with the tenant throughout the program.

Tenant Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding their financial hardship
Actively participate in the program, including attending meetings and providing necessary documentation.
Comply with the agreed-upon terms of the rent relief program, including timely payments of deferred rent.
Communicate any changes in their financial situation or ability to meet program requirements.

Additional Considerations:
AxcessRent reserves the right to modify or terminate the rent relief program at any time.
Participation in the rent relief program does not waive other lease obligations or late fees incurred before or after the program period.
Tenants remain responsible for all other charges associated with their tenancy, such as utilities and late fees.
